When you live in a world driven by fear, division and war you must do your best to find your inner peace. Creating for me has always been an important therapeutic experience as well an opportunity to keep an artistic discipline, aesthetic vision, technical literacy, art historically perspective, real music and my Brand alive.
Working with clay reconnected myself with my spirit and my purpose. When I was around 20 years old I knew I was fully committed to a life with clay and a greater studio practice. I can’t say it’s been easy or streamlined but I don’t think it was supposed to be.
None of this would be possible without love.
Love for the most high, Love for the heavenly energy that made us, Love for family, love for my wife, love for the earth and all her offerings, love for community, love for conversation, love for animals, love for friends new and old and Love for self.
Loving oneself is definitely the hardest one for me but I have been making things to keep connected to our purpose.
This new character is going to be the face of the next steps in life. “the artist babz” is here for the long haul. It represents our best future self! The future self with all the willpower, confidence and wisdom to return to the natural balance to the world for the sake of life itself.
If you’re still reading it means you care about us and for that I am forever great full. You will probably want to go follow
@theartistbabz to be apart of the journey! I will need all of you.
Big shoutout to my Big homie
@serg.mantilla and
@studiosinvisible for the photos and for sharing your time and spirit with me.
I have recently lost friends, became an uncle again, turned down dream opportunities to keep pushing the vision, helping build a studio, low income, inflation, war distrust and …… it goes on and I know you can all relate!
So I have one question for you, what do you do it for?
What makes you keep going?!?
love and liberation
