Matcha & Me: Driven After Dark šŸµ So grateful to have my work showcased in partnership with Audi and the supporting partners that intentionally aligned with our vision for this event. Thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out! Curating an experience means a lot to me when it comes to my work so having my designs displayed for people to interact with was an amazing feeling. Ya girl worked super hard on everything as far as the logo, the welcome sign, the event guide, the thank you cards, etc. to give our guests an elevate experience and I’m so proud of myself with how it all turned out. There’s definitely more to come and I’m excited to continue to grow within my career šŸ¤ - #creativedirector #graphicdesigner #matcha

Happy Melanated MarchāœŠšŸ¾ Songs for the Culture represents how music is a form of communication and expression within the Black community. These songs speak to concepts of joy, identity, ancestry, introspection, and unity that displays the various ways our stories can be seen or heard. Celebrating our history isn’t bound to a month as we carry these roots in everything we do on a daily basis. - #graphicdesign #music #explorepage #blackhistory culture

In the current rotation vol. 8: Ty’s pickšŸ’½ As I continue to build this series, I wanted to expand it to asking the people closest to me how they feel about the music they listen to. It goes deeper than just listening to a song as it pertains to resonating with a message, how it relates to you, and the world around you. The questions I asked Tyson was intentional as I wanted to go beyond the surface on how these songs make him feel. I’m interested in discovering more about how others see and feel music so I’m looking forward to more collaborations with this series. #graphicdesign #music #hiphop #explore #digitalmedia

A Very Baddie ChristmasšŸŽšŸŽ„in the current rotation vol. 7 features some of my favorite holiday tracks catered to my fellow black girls! To the girls who grew up listening to Destiny’s Child and the Cheetah Girls these songs have the 90s rnb sound that puts you in the holiday spirit. I love how these songs take the traditional Christmas classics and flip it in a new way. The theme of getting closer to that special someone this holiday season is streamlined in each song in their own unique way. * * * * #playlist #christmas #destinyschild #music #graphicdesign

Poetic FlowšŸ’”{in the current rotation vol. 6} — focuses on a taste of conscious/influential rap that emphasizes lyrical technicality through writing and layering sounds. Concepts such as love, financial success, and the art of slowing down covered in each song offers an authentic perspective that makes them relevant to this day. There’s a lot of great artists from this category but these are a few of my favorites that I always make my way back to! - - - #graphicdesign #consciousrap #mosdef #slumvillage #common

We’re back with a fresh in the current rotation — neo-soul/rnb editionšŸŽ¶ For this edition I highlighted how each song covers a different characteristic of the genre whether it’s melody, rhythm, instrumentalism, or lyricism. I admire the depth and variety that is embodied through rnb and soul as it’s timeless nature allows it to have so many sub-categories. All these songs provide a different feeling that brings you into a story under the umbrella of love, introspection, and self discovery. #graphicdesign #music #rnbsoul #explore

Juneteenth is an ode to the ancestors who fought before us and a celebration of the sacredness of African American culture. We have seen how our history has been buried, erased, and hidden not just under the current administration but throughout the history of this nation. It’s important to be aware and educate ourselves about our victories, struggles, and advancements within the Black experience in America and share with our peers. Have a safe and joyous JuneteenthšŸ¤Ž - #juneteenth #graphicdesign #layoutdesign #explore #blackhistory #adobeillustrator
