For a king sized bed I always recommend a 20x54 lumbar pillow. It sounds HUGE, but how I describe pillows to clients is pillows are like women, they have “curves” and it’s not like measuring a piece of wood. This always seems to help!

Saw these fire bowls from Pottery Barn. They are $140 and I’ll show you how to make them for $25.
I❤️to be outside and I have a large fire pit, but I wanted something that would bring a small amount of heat and go with my outside decor.
🌿 Plastic bowls: You’ll want a larger one and then one smaller that fits inside.
🌿 Get some non-stick spray like Pam. You are going to spray the larger bowl on the inside and the outside of the smaller bowl. Don’t be shy, spray A LOT so they don’t stick.
🌿 I purchased a bag of white cement from Home Depot and still have a TON left over. My friends may be gifted some fire bowls.😉
🌿 Mix the cement with water until you get the right consistency. I love to cook so this was a breeze.
🌿 I then poured the cement into the larger bowl, THEN placed the smaller bowl in the middle and got it perfectly centered. I then used a massage gun on the outside to tap out some of the air bubbles.
🌿 I then weighed it down in the center to keep it from moving while it cured.
🌿 Some people said let it cure for 24, some said, 48. I have little patience so I went with 24 hours. 😊
🌿 The smaller and larger bowl popped right out. I did have to sand along the top with my electric sander. I didn’t want it to look “perfect.”
🌿 Added Sterno Green heating packs and wrapped them in chicken wire so they wouldn’t touch the rocks.
🌿 Rocks: I used Mexican Pebble Beach rocks that I purchased from Home Depot.
🌿 Had extra cement so made a planter pot for one of my succulents.💚
I would say the fire bowls don’t put off a huge amount of heat, but I live in Texas so I wasn’t looking for a lot. I think these would be great to use for styling on an outdoor table or a thoughtful gift.

I will always love you Moose Mallard Dusk.🦆I’m convinced losing a pet is not for the faint of heart. It’s crushing and feels way too soon, but I’m soooo thankful God gave us dogs. So thankful I picked my Moose.🙏🏽💙
Moose was my first dog as an adult and the two things I found myself repeating to him before we had to say goodbye was, “I’m so thankful for you Moose and you are such a good boy.” He was such an incredibly gentle, goofy, smart boy.
Of course the tears haven’t stopped over the past couple of days, but I find myself touching my heart when I cry and I realized that’s exactly what our pets do. They touch our hearts.❤️ They are loyal, they don’t judge us and of course remain close by our sides.

Hope you had a wonderful 2023! For me it’s always the simple things that make me happy. One of my favorite things is laughing with people in my life. If we don’t make each other laugh, I’m not sure we’ll make it. 🥳
Top highlights: seeing Shania Twain in concert 15 rows back, traveling to Cabo, 🎾, reading all the books I wanted from the library, doing things that put me in the seat of being rejected (not my favorite, but worth it) and seeing family when I could.
Biggest thing I learned this year: Toxic people are toxic and let them be. Let it go FAST. Also, be vulnerable and have the hard conversations with the people you care about.
