There are two kinds of learning. One is technical. It’s the foundation, what can be taught, practiced, compared. The rules, the movements, the things that already exist. You measure progress, you get better, you build control.
The other kind starts once that foundation is there. We need technical skills to give us the tools to express ourselves. Style can’t be taught or measured. It grows slowly, shaped by taste, feeling, and time spent doing things your own way. Technical skill gets you moving. Style is what makes it yours.
