The newly opened @everestisles flagship store in Wallingford, CT is an exploration in curating Everest Isles’ commitment, ethos and lifestyle. This store design project was developed through a close partnership between Studio Newwork and Jeff Hladky, Everest Isles Founder. Together, we utilized modular and utilitarian construction for an elevated presentation of their sustainable swimwear and ready-to-wear collections. We collaborated with @lichennyc on creating plywood fixtures and seating that match the brand’s aesthetic sensibilities.

We worked in close collaboration with Yojiro Imasaka for the exhibition “Wet Land” at Ginza Tsutaya Books Atrium in Ginza SIX (Tokyo, Japan) from October 20th to November 1st, 2023. The exhibition encompassed a wide range of the artist’s recent work from Wet Land series including original toned gelatin silver prints, original glass plates and large-scale aluminum work. We helped @yojiroimasaka develop three 15-foot long aluminum artwork and created immersive environment on exterior walls around the entrances. Every visitor touchpoint has been rigorously considered: print communication, exhibition graphics, and accompanying books.@ginza_tsutayabooks @bss_books#yojiroimasaka #ginzatsutayabooks
