We hope that all our friends and your families are safe during this uncertain period.
We are still trying to operate as usual - pitched up on the dining table at home. However, we are grateful for all of our regular clients, as a small business this is a very difficult time and we are going to persevere and hopefully be around by the end of it!
Everyone keep safe.

New addition to the book shelf @dixonbaxi new book: Be Brave.
I look forward to reading about their process and how they came up with great work for brands such as: Formula E, Premier League and Eurosport. Also love the yellow, stands out nicely on the shelf.
After visiting Bridget Riley at the Hayward Gallery, it reminded me of a project I completed at @unioftheartslondon . The project called ‘London Through a Designers Eyes’, was a physical journal of my interactions and observations through London during University.
At the time I was drawn to repetition and graphics found on the underground. I decided to design tube moquettes inspired by pinstripes rather than landmarks/random patterns.
I designed the poster/dust sheet for the book, inspired by Bridget Riley’s Chant (1967) and the London Underground palette. Using only biro pens on Kraft pinstripe paper to create a homage to her work. Not as precise as her paintings though!
Note: Ignore terrible photography found on my old blog.

Visited the Bridget Riley exhibition at the Hayward Gallery this week. A great collection showing her development of style and application since the 60’s.
It was amazing to see her plans and working drawings, designing each piece by hand on graph paper. Reminds me of my university days, never rushing to the screen to concept.

An old Christmas card design that was inspired by the letterpress studio at the London College of Communication, a side project completed as part of my foundation degree studying there.
Myself and a fellow @unioftheartslondon alumni Samuel Davies decided to design a card that utilised the letter O character to create a Christmas tree. Using a metallic gold and silver, we ran the design twice through the press to achieve the dual colour design. Hand cut and folded, we paired with a recycled envelope.
Note: All cards have been used and sent over the years.

This Fridays delivery is Manuals 2 Design & Identity Guidelines from @uniteditions and design by @spin_studio
Backed on the Kickstarter and owner of the first iteration, I am really looking forward to going through this in my downtime, especially the IBM manuals and the British Rail Livery handbook.
Great delivery this Friday in the studio.
@thefcindex supported this on Kickstarter, just as good as the first edition. Love the Bologna design.
@logoarchive 4th edition about architecture and the link with graphic design. Lucky to get the grey insert, the set is starting to grow nicely.
Big thanks to @mr_bingstagram for letting me pop by his studio and grab his latest works of art - Don’t forget to have fun. Always great to get new pieces of inspiration in the studio.
Also lucky to be the first person with the fruit salad colourway print.
