Weddings aren’t just about two people. It’s about everything that shaped them. The people. The traditions. The roots.
Ellen and Dominic included a Korean paebaek ceremony as part of their wedding celebration, and it was such a meaningful, vibrant reminder of what matters most: family, ancestry, and intention.
From deep bows to the tossing of dates and chestnuts (symbolizing a future filled with children), every movement held weight. It was intimate, emotional, and rich with history.
One of my favorite moments was watching Ellen’s grandparents absolutely steal the show. There’s something so special about photographing the elders—generations of love, wisdom, and beauty wrapped up in hanboks and sweet smiles.
Give me more of this always: culture, connection, and grandparents being icons. 🫶✨
