The corridor of Granthalaya becomes more than a passage it transforms into a living exhibition space where villagers showcase their craft. While the library within nurtures learning and introspection, the corridor outside celebrates expression, skill, and community.

The boldness of form and use of local Materials define the aesthetics of this building. The order in design is meticulously conceived on the drawing board raising the overall impact of this structure as it establishes itself in the given context.
Granthalay :
The circular geometry of the plan evolved directly from the site conditions rather than from a stylistic intent. With roads on all four sides and a nearly square plot constrained by mandatory setbacks, a conventional square footprint felt inevitable. Instead, we introduced a diagonally aligned circular form so that all facades respond equally to the surrounding streets.
This approach also enlarged the corner zones, allowing them to become active community spaces.
The circular layout brought structural and technical complexities, from developing a radial grid to organizing served and service areas, and carefully detailing the façade, openings, and cladding as part of a cohesive system. The placement of the building was further refined to preserve every existing tree on site.
