Spring is my favorite time of year, when everything is lush and green. Lilies of the valley signaled spring where I grew up in the midwest. Since we don’t get them here in California, I was delighted to have a reason to splurge on them for this shoot.Photo by @molly_haas

I talk a lot about transforming "white boxes" with my clients. With this one, we added an entire wall of wood paneling and created niches in lieu of nightstands. The result is warmth that still feels clean and minimalist. Collaboration with @scanlan_design, captured by @molly_haas.

I believe that a nursery is for the parents as much as it is for the baby. The space should feel calm and playful at the same time. And at least some of the elements in the room should remain relevant past the kid stage.Photo by @molly_haas
