Big art always wins. Between the high ceilings and massive sectional, the art had to be huge. Once the client learned more about the artist’s process, they were in. And the artwork became a conversation piece for guests, not just decoration. 📷 @molly_haas

A wool kilim runner does wonders for a kitchen, hiding spills, providing something soft underfoot, and making the all hard surfaces feel more residential. 📷 @molly_haas

Spring is my favorite time of year, when everything is lush and green. Lilies of the valley signaled spring where I grew up in the midwest. Since we don’t get them here in California, I was delighted to have a reason to splurge on them for this shoot. Photo by @molly_haas

I talk a lot about transforming "white boxes" with my clients. With this one, we added an entire wall of wood paneling and created niches in lieu of nightstands. The result is warmth that still feels clean and minimalist. Collaboration with @scanlan_design , captured by @molly_haas .

This home office is a sanctuary for a client who works incredibly hard and has a deep, personal love for purple. The goal wasn't just to add a splash of color, but to weave it into a sophisticated, high-energy workspace that feels as creative as it does productive. Photo by @molly_haas

I called this house faux midcentury modern since it was built in 1975. We kept the warmth of the original wood frames and brick, then dialed up the personality with bold blues and graphic patterns. It’s nostalgic, yet completely current. Construction: @paloaltobuilders Photography: @molly_haas

Some citrus to brighten a dreary winter day. This client (who is also a dear friend) adores meyer lemons, so we put them all over the dining room and never looked back. 📷 @molly_haas

I believe that a nursery is for the parents as much as it is for the baby. The space should feel calm and playful at the same time. And at least some of the elements in the room should remain relevant past the kid stage. Photo by @molly_haas

Dots might just be my favorite pattern. This custom hutch provided much needed additional storage for a family whose previous house had a ton of built-in cabinetry. Photo by @molly_haas
