Sometimes you have to do something for yourself⌠went through my scrap bin and managed to salvage some nice pieces of oak to make me and my wife some much needed bedside tables! Reuse where you can, helps the planet innit!
Beautiful unique handmade creations by my talented good old friend Tom đ´ó §ó ˘ó ˇó Źó łó ż aka @studiofrayne .
Tom & I used to spend a lot of time hanging out in Stokey during our London era, where we actually worked on a table design for my living room - which stands the passing of time and continents swaps by still being enjoyed in the Albion road flat.
We found each other again in Sydney recently, just before Tomâs first chair exhibition at @comberstreetstudios , which I was lucky enough to get a private sneak peak of and snap a few creations and portraits for the memories.
Because when you create you show your true self to the world, you heal, you transform, your thoughts become reality, you talk without speaking, you show up for yourself and take a bet on you - and whatâs more beautiful than admiring your good mates creations and catching up about life?

Some details of âTšâ from my recent show, Cadair Ddu.
âTšâ is handmade using repurposed steel and oak. The top of the stool was inspired by how the formation of stones were placed to erect castles and walls during the medieval times in wales and surrounding areas. The remainder of the stool represents to dungeons found beneath these fascinating structures from past times.
Tš was an interesting and fun process to create.
Happy Christmas! Looking forward to another year of free creativity and fun. Hope to meet more of you too! Still buzzing from all the chats and kind words from some of you at my show. Love you all đ¤

âGwdihĹľâ, âHeddwchâ and âCarwynâ from my recent show, Cadair Ddu.
These three chairs, translated to, Owl, Peace and Blessed Love are all handmade using only hand tools and repurposed timbers. Each timber is âebonisedâ using a few techniques to bring the natural tannins within the timber to the surface. Then adding oils and hard wax oil to give each chair more layers of protection.
All chairs are available to purchase or loan, please direct message if interested or would like more information.
