Project SK, Lekki. The brief was Sculptural Stillness, and it lived in every room. The living room carries it in the curve of the sofa and the cluster of dark side tables sitting low against it. The dining room holds it in the oval marble table and the globe chandelier overhead. The bedrooms carry it quietly, in the artwork on the walls and the texture of every surface you might touch. No room was loud. Each one just asked you to slow down and look. What was the first thing you noticed?

The easiest room in any office to get wrong. A meeting room has to hold a serious conversation, a casual one, a pitch and sometimes a quiet disagreement, all in the same afternoon. So we design for the weight of the room as much as the look of it. Five from the archive. Glovo. Dye Lab. Waza HQ. Helium Health. Bamboo/Chrysalis. Sound on🤎

Every studio has a way of working. Ours comes down to five ideas we come back to on every project. The actual filter every decision passes through before it leaves the studio. Swipe through our thinking.

Hi. Missed us? We stepped back from the feed for a while, but the studio never stopped. What is coming is worth the pause. Pull up a chair.

Meet Emma Emodi of @studioemodi , the designer behind the Pebble Sofa a celebration of nostalgia, artistry, and comfort. Initially designed exclusively for @dye_lab , Pebble brings together expressive Adire fabrics and wood in a striking display of pattern-blocking. Its silhouette draws inspiration from vintage Italian furniture, yet its soul feels entirely new. Beyond its visual appeal, Pebble invites playful interaction. Its organic form, reminiscent of the smooth, uneven balls of the traditional Ayo game, carries a sense of familiarity and memory. This is more than a sofa; it’s an experience—comfort you sink into, energy that uplifts, and a presence that lingers. The Journey Continues… As part of our mission to nurture Africa’s next generation of designers, the Design & Innovation Exhibition proudly presents the DWL Incubator Program — a 3-month initiative pairing emerging talents with global mentors and supporting them to create affordable, scalable, and innovative products. This is how we shape industries. This is how we design futures. At Nest Home, we celebrate the works of local craftsmen and artisans in the Africa diaspora. The handmade element means that every piece is unique and different; specially crafted objects that enhance every space they are placed in ✨ @nesthomebystudioemodi
