Studio.Edu is honored to have captured the press image for the release of “Lost in Music”. A fresh interpretation of the iconic Sister Sledge track by Camille Sledge and Bas van Lier.
The shoot was grounded in trust, creativity, and a shared sense of joy. It was a day shaped by natural collaboration and vibrant energy. The kind that happens when music and visuals move in sync.
The spirit of the track translated into every frame, resulting in imagery that feels just as soulful and alive. A day that reminded me why I do what I do.
My princess turned 29 today.
As a tribute, we took her favorite sundress and shot a small photo and video editorial with it.

She feels most like herself in the dress.
Feminine, playful, and adventurous.
It was a very nice time together, and I learned a lot from it.
From technical things like composition, to trusting my intuition and highlighting her strength.
She is a beauty to be celebrated, and this is my tribute to her.

Na een jaar van toewijding, diepe gesprekken en momenten van pure oprechtheid is het fotoboek van Stichting Levensportret een feit. Een project dat draait om herinneren, om vastleggen wat niet verloren mag gaan.
Studio.Edu heeft de bijzondere taak op zich genomen om dit visueel vorm te geven—van de fotografie tot de opmaak—maar eigenlijk ging het om iets veel groters. Het ging om het voelen, luisteren en het zo eerlijk mogelijk vertalen van de verhalen van mensen die wisten hoe kostbaar tijd is. Verhalen over liefde, kracht en de sporen die ze achterlaten.
Authenticiteit stond voorop. In het licht, in de compositie, maar vooral in het contact. Het vertrouwen dat nodig is om iemands essentie vast te leggen, om niet alleen een beeld, maar een herinnering tastbaar te maken.
Dit boek brengt 30 verhalen samen uit de 600 portretten die Stichting Levensportret in de afgelopen twee jaar heeft mogen maken. Elk verhaal een antwoord op de vraag die steeds weer terugkomt:
Hoe wil ik herinnerd worden?
Een vraag die raakt, die uitnodigt om na te denken over wat echt belangrijk is.
