Twice 1.31 Arlington. This concert got me to buy a brand new phone afterwards to replace my aging Pixel 7 because why is a 4 year old phone taking such blurry photos that close from the floor. Finally joining my friends who have been buying "concert phones" for years.
Some bits and fragments from my trip out to LA to help out the best friend Jeannie as she battles cancer. Build a life surrounding yourself with good people, and she's done exactly that in LA. It was a constant stream of neighbors and friends driving across town and from other cities to help any way they can.

As always, if the door of your house faces the opposite direction you want to go, it's really the intent/general direction you head leaving your house- this includes walking to the driveway/mailbox as the "starting point" and walking back in the direction you wanted.

Some 15 minutes north of the Bucees in Madisonville on the way to Dallas lies the Leona General Store, open less than 3 1/2 hours a day, Thurs-Sat. I had been wanting to check this place out for 4 years now and it did not disappoint.
There's no menu- the server asks if you want steak, chicken or pork. If you want the steak, how many ounces and what doneness. And that's it- the chargrilled ribeye is paired with a buttery, fluffy dinner roll, house salad, and creamy garlic mashed potatoes and it is all just fantastic. Super tender, flavorful steak with that classic hint of char and the perfect doneness.
Definitely recommend a visit if you're a steak lover and happen to be driving up to Dallas for the weekend and passing through for dinner.
Lion/Dragon Dance season is upon us. Man I went to so many last year and looking forward to checking out a few this year. This series that I never posted is from the one at MFAH last February, one of the last performances of the season.
Also last year was the debut of the Labubus, who were very much the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern of the performance. I also shoehorn in references to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern every chance I get.
Saw TxT in Dallas and it was a pretty fun concert- bought my ticket on the way to Dallas a few hours before the concert start but couldn't score a deal like I did when they were at Minute Maid Park.
Wish Miracle weren't the closer so they would have done the choreo, but glad to hear it since that's the song I wanted to hear the most.
Also my aging phone can't handle photos shot from 200s section or higher- an ominous foreshadowing if I can make any BTS concerts this year.
