for Rimsha these motifs symbolize a love that is both deeply felt and ever-transforming, marking not just union, but a new chapter of becoming. The koi fish holds deep love for water, its gentle flow, resilience, a balance that feels deeply true to the way their relationship is. Hearts have long been in their shared language; Maaz has always folded them for Rimsha as origami hearts and continues to find them for her whenever he spots one. I wanted to mirror these motifs on Maaz waistcoat and Rimsha’s dupatta. Their pieces were designed to only make complete sense together, much like them, two goofs at heart honouring each other’s inner child.
