Marie Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Awards, Studio Dance Arts was awarded Downtown Business of the Year! We were also so honoured to be nominated for both Downtown Business of the Year and Business of the Year. Simply being nominated alongside so many incredible local businesses and being part of the amazing business community in Sault Ste. Marie was truly special. This recognition truly belongs to our amazing SDA family - our incredible dancers, families, faculty, staff, and our supportive community who continue to believe in and support us year after year. A huge THANK YOU to Annie Wood and the incredible Breaking Bounds team for an amazing competition weekend in Toronto! ✨ Our final regional event of the season and what an exciting one it was! We are so proud of all of our dancers for their beautiful performances and the growth we saw. Special awards, scholarships, overalls, and bringing home Top Studio Competitive 1… such an incredible achievement! 🏆👏 We also want to congratulate all of the other participating studios The talent, passion, and artistry on that stage was truly inspiring to watch. What an amazing community of dancers! 💫 But more than anything, we are most proud of our team’s resilience and adaptability. Since the roof collapse on March 2, you’ve continued to train without a home studio, working out of temporary venues across the city, and even navigating restrictions like not being able to use your tap shoes. And yet, you showed up on stage looking like you didn’t skip a beat. 💪✨ This successful weekend wasn’t just about competition results. It was about thriving through adversity. That is what makes us the most proud. ❤️ Dance training is LIFE training. Congratulations dancers, families, and staff… BRAVO! 🎉
