STUDIO COMORO is a Belgian design studio creating glass objects that come alive through light, color, and reflection.
Meet the designers:
Lieven Vandoren, a glass expert with decades of experience, and Sofie Favere, a designer active in the film industry since 2001, join forces to explore the endless possibilities of glass—respecting the material while constantly seeking new forms and expressions.
Their work balances craftsmanship and experimentation, focusing on subtle color shifts and the way glass interacts with light and space. Each piece adapts to its environment, becoming a dynamic, living presence.

Eerste designer van de maand bij KRAK: Studio Comoro ✨
Heel maart lang vind je bij ons het werk van Studio Comoro. Hun glaskunst moet je eigenlijk gewoon in het echt komen bekijken. Door het licht en je eigen positie lijken de werken bijna te bewegen, elke stap geeft weer een ander beeld. Best magisch, eigenlijk 👀
En nog beter: op zaterdag 21 maart komt Studio Comoro zelf langs in de shop! Spring gerust binnen, bekijk het werk van dichtbij en sla een babbeltje met de makers.
Wij zetten de koffie klaar. 😉

Is a Belgian design studio that creates glass objects that come to life through light, color, and reflection.
Studio Comoro is a collaboration between Lieven Vandoren and Sofie Favere, a fusion of craftsmanship and aesthetics.
Lieven (born 1982), a glass expert with decades of experience and product knowledge, and Sofie (born 1979), a graphic designer active in the film industry, join forces on this project.
Each drawing on their own expertise, they bring glass to life with an eye for detail, respect for the material, and a continuous search for new forms and possibilities.
