Making a garlic keeper with an integrated garlic grater as the lid. So many satisfying steps in the process of making this one, especially glazing the body of the jar. Makes me want to make berry bowls and colanders!

Throwing and altering a mug. This was one of the first squiggly designs I ever made. Most of my work is slab-built now, but it feels nice to return to the wheel every now and then!
Making a ceramic butter keeper. The shallow pool of water allows your butter to remain fresh at room temperature for longer by keeping the butter from being exposed to oxygen.
Over the summer I revisited a few wheel-thrown forms I haven’t made in a long time. This carved bowl was one of them. And which parts I can improve by using the skills I’ve gained since the last time I made it, or the critical eye that only distance can provide.
