For our first Baum Baum Club residency, we reached out to friend of the studio, Adam Schatz to join us for a 2 day gauntlet of events. If you do not know Adam, there is a very good chance you have heard his music. Often performing under the moniker of his personal project Landlady , Schatz is an intensely versatile multi-instrumentalist who tours with artists like Japanese Breakfast and Neko Case or collaborating on his improvisational project, Civil Engineering. And when he’s not busy touring Adam might be found in any number of studios (including his own in Vermont) producing or arranging, as he does for many artists too numerous to list, or lending his considerable literary talent to outlets such as @talkhouse . On Wednesday June 10th, the ever charismatic, Adam Schatz, will be joining us for his first performance at the club as Landlady. Opening for Adam will be local talent, Pat Kelly. May 7th will be our first time handing of the curatorial reins over to friend of the club, Kim Lopez, who will be sharing some ear candy from his stacked personal collection. We also have the pleasure of hosting Rafael Vencio, of Amboy, who is providing a snack pack (included in the ticket price) as well as a Filipino dessert for sale! One week from tomorrow, on the eve of Valentines 2026, we will be hosting Jana Horn ( @janus__janus ) in our studio. We’ve been playing her beautiful, newest record (self-titled) around here in preparation for her arrival. Opening the night will be local friends, Westinghouse Atom Smasher. It will be our first night with live drums (gasp!) in the space. It’s going to be a gorgeous, romantic night - see you there - link for tix in the ol’ bio.

First thing’s first -Happy transition into this new year! We have a lot of exciting coming up at the studio but we will start with announcing the next Arrangements - January 17th 12-4pm. It will be my first time NOT playing which I am very excited to have the opportunity sit and draw and chat with folks while our friends Chameleon Treat and Doug North Cook add ambient / electronic soundscaping. $10/ adult - Looking forward to seeing you there!

Time to pull up a martini - we are in the season of festive house parties and it is making me feel sentimental about the homey kitchen spaces we’ve done over time. One of the earliest questions that we ask is always - how do you entertain? I love envisioning the final product, full of people laughing, shucking oysters or cheersing their champagne.
