I’m thrilled to be part of “Nothing Comes From Nothing,” a great group show curated by @tangible.space and @verso_works which is now on view at the pink @tankhouse building 144 Vanderbilt! As the Rodgers and Hammerstein song goes, “nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could, so, somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good.” Thank you!!!💖 Photo by @claireesparros !

Introducing Paint By Numbers by @studio_liamlee . Meet Magic Eye, Pointillist, Gridwork, and Impasto—four distinct patterns that reflect Liam Lee’s nuanced understanding of color and form. Drawing inspiration from his recent paintings that move between abstraction and figuration, this collection offers designers a dynamic toolkit for creating playful, unexpected moments of delight through rich texture, considered composition, and unexpected color interplay. Discover Paint By Numbers at the link in bio. Photography @pippa_drummond Styling and set design @bartoshesky

I’m very excited to unveil Breathing Room, a tactile, immersive fiber installation as part of the @resound_newyork exhibition at @rockefellercenter ! Come by, have a seat, and stare into the void starting on October 1, 2025! My largest work to date, this installation continues my engagement with wool fiber both as a sculptural medium and as a conduit for thinking through ideas of interiority, cultivation, and artifice. Set within a mirrored infinity room, the undulating wool landscape operates spatially and perceptually, extending out into an illusory expanse, collapsing distinctions between inside and outside, object and environment, furniture and terrain. The topography evoked by the tufted surface suggests an organic inevitability, echoing growth patterns of moss that over time has concealed stones, roots, fallen branches, yet they are the result of deliberate and meticulous shaping and construction, drawing parallels to a horticultural logic that insists on forms that appear natural yet are highly mediated by human intervention. Many thanks to the many people at @dstrictholdings for supporting this immense project and for letting my imagination run wild, the @hero__nyc team, and to the folks at @thirdkindstudio for a fab job fabricating the plywood substructure! Breathing Room, 2025 Materials: Tufted wool yarn, upholstery foam, birch plywood, acrylic mirrors Dimensions: 12’L x 12’W x 8’H

I’m very honored to be included in the Wallpaper* USA 400 list again this year along side so many inspiring friends, fellow artists, and straight up idols. As a one person studio, it’s incredibly meaningful to be part of such an amazing creative community, and although my work is for the most part solitary, it would not be possible without the support and encouragement of the many wonderful people who have come into my life since beginning my practice in 2020. Thank you so much to @billprinceinc @jasonhughesinfo and everyone at @wallpapermag ! “This year’s Wallpaper* USA 400 marks our third edition of the list, and is a snapshot of the talents shaping conversations in America – and the world more broadly – today, be it through design, architecture, fashion or their respective communities.” #wallpapermagazine, #wallpaperusa400

For me, drawing is a means of proposing a set of questions, testing out an idea or set of constraints, whether or not the work ends up feeling resolved. It’s always a process of experimentation and in this case, wiggling my way towards more figurative subject matter. I’m thrilled that this work will be included in ON PAPER, which opens at the Arena Arts Initiative‭ and the Galli-Curci Theater ‬upstate in Margaretville, NY this weekend! Thanks so much to Brent Rumage for organizing this show!
