Grace Prince in New York • Last week I was lucky enough to catch @grace____prince ’s solo show, ‘Collected Unravellings’ at @jacquelinesullivangallery .
Grace’s work explores material, surface and form through cutting, welding and reworking - delicate yet industrial, with each mark she makes whilst working intentionally left exposed.

A balance of green and red runs through the living room of Blacksmith Cottage, with Lucy’s ceramic collection displayed across the shelves.
The fireplace is truly wabi-sabi - we discovered it during the renovation and decided to simply paint it, letting its original character do the talking.

The mix of neutrals and indigo bring a sense of calm to this bedroom in our Blacksmith Cottage project - Lucy’s own home.

NEUTRALS | Choosing the right neutral paint for your space can sometimes be even harder than choosing a colour.
Look closely at the underlying pigment and how it sits within your space. Test your paint in natural light, and consider how bolder pieces (such as a colour blocked sofa) might cast tone onto the walls.

This custom chest of drawers was cut on the grain, so that each drawer follows the natural rhythm of the wood - resulting in a unique and organic finish.
The piece was co-designed for our Regent’s Park Road project by Lucy and @adamguyblencowe - crafted from sustainable cherry wood and by metal work by @spaces_within
