Studio Iknoki

We developed the visual identity for “Plan-séquence”, a monographic exhibition dedicated to the work of DEMOGO, presented at Galerie d’Architecture in Paris. The exhibition revisits a selection of eight projects through the concept of the plan-séquence, a cinematic device based on temporal continuity. Here it is used as a way to read architecture as a perceptual experience in motion, constructed through sequences, bodies, spaces and places. This idea is translated into the visual identity through a tension between two logics, on one side the cinematic long take, continuous and immersive, on the other the archive, structured and defined by codes. The system combines flow and structure, translated into a custom typeface in which letters are connected by linear ligatures, turning each word into a continuous path. Each project is identified by a pair of initials that follow the same principle, becoming autonomous signs that together form an evolving archive and a fluid visual narrative. Pylon is a modular typeface built entirely from straight lines. No curves, only structure. Inspired by early CAD interfaces, diagrammatic systems, and cartographic grids, it constructs each letter as a linear architecture. We are pleased to announce our upcoming monographic exhibition in Paris at the Galerie d’Architecture entitled Plan-séquence. It presents an open process of rereading our archive of eight projects through an interpretive framework based on the progressive perception between bodies, spaces, and places. The Plan-séquence, a cinematic technique founded on the temporal continuity of the shot, serves as the conceptual device through which the exhibition interprets a specific architectural research. The lack of coincidence between the time of representation and the time of experience allows the architecture to be read as being constructed for multiple sequence shots, according to a progression. Art direction and editorial design for the 2025 @dga.lightaddicted "Light in Motion" catalogue. A project developed through a close collaboration with @slowphoto.studio , combining editorial structure and photographic direction into a single visual system. The project focused on the visual development of a publication of over 700 pages, conceived as both a technical reference and a narrative object. Together, we developed a coherent photographic language capable of expressing the brand’s identity and its approach to lighting design. Visual identity and editorial design of PAO XIX, the nineteenth edition of the Oderzo Architecture Prize, one of the most important and iconic architecture competitions in Italy. For the occasion, we created a custom typeface used throughout the visual communication. The project explores the relationship between typography and architecture through a monospaced, stencil, and modular typeface. Inspired by both contemporary and classical architecture, with brutalist accents, it combines essential shapes, repeatable modules, and open structures. A visual system conceived for NOT FAR FROM HERE, Enrico Cerovac’s latest project, unveiled at Spazio Milesi, Milan, December 2025. NOT FAR FROM HERE is a personal vision shaped by a research process that is often unconscious and continuous. A tribute to the skateboarding community and its aesthetics, with all their contradictions and nuances.
