Désireuse de pérenniser ses infrastructures piétonnes, la Société de Développement de l’
@avenuemontroyal a mandaté Dikini pour créer un mobilier urbain à la fois unique et durable. Comme ce mobilier ne pouvait ni être déplacé par des machines lourdes ni ancré dans la chaussée, le défi consistait à concevoir des pièces qui, tout en étant légères et autoportantes, limitent également les risques de vol.
La solution est Méandre : un système modulaire robuste, flexible, et facile à assembler, permettant de créer de larges aménagements sinueux.

In its effort to enhance the durability of its pedestrian infrastructure, the Société de Développement de l’
@avenuemontroyal commissioned Dikini to design bespoke urban furniture that is both unique and durable. Since the furniture could neither be moved with heavy machinery nor anchored to the pavement, the challenge was to create pieces that, while lightweight and freestanding, also minimize the risk of theft.
The solution is Méandre: a robust, flexible, and easy-to-assemble modular system that enables the creation of expansive, winding arrangements.
