This agritourism project has been percolating for many years, so it’s super exciting to see the first phase taking shape. We are adding two new buildings to the existing ensemble, and hope to refurbish the farms existing structures in future phases.

Bua’s conservation-led renovation of a Georgian mews house has given rise to a refined home where enjoyment reigns. A series of thoughtful interrogations worked with the historic fabric of the building to reconfigure rooms into spaces ripe for entertaining. An entrance hall leads to a ground floor kitchen and dining area. The first floor has become a generous reception room with a cocktail bar and French doors opening onto Juliet balconies. Top floor bedrooms greet a curved staircase and roof terrace. Custom joinery, decadent natural surfaces and historic features add to the air of grandeur.

Bua conducted a full renovation of a Grade II listed Queen Anne revival terrace apartment into a serene family home.

After investigating the history of the building, we reinstated lost forms and features and commissioned bespoke joinery to maximise storage and display. Warm, natural materials complement the curation of both classic and contemporary furniture. Introducing an arch motif on room openings echoed the neoclassical influences of the external façade and allows dual aspect light to flow throughout the living spaces.#studiobua #modernhome #listedbuilding #listedbuildingrenovation #westminister

Rapid progress on site at our precast hotel building in Iceland.

The project was developed through physical and CAD modelling and its wonderful to see the similarities between the assembly of a 1:50 card model and 1:1 concrete elements on site.
