With my move from Queenstown to Wānaka and the natural unfolding of my craft beyond Facial Artistry, it felt like the right time for a new name. I’m so excited to share that I’m now Studio Belé (pronounced “beh-LEH”), named after the way my Italian nonna would call us girls “bel belé” - meaning ‘beautiful beauty’ in her Milano dialect. She turns 95 in February and this name feels like a way of honouring her, my family, and my roots. The name reflects my belief that beauty is not something we add or fix, but something that already exists within. My role is simply to unveil that inner beauty. To celebrate this new chapter and settling into Wānaka, I’ll be offering discounted sessions throughout February at my Albert Town studio for those in Wānaka and the surrounding areas. If you are curious about Face Up, this is the perfect time to try! Thank you for being part of my journey… I can’t wait to welcome you into Studio Belé 🤍 #wanakawellness #faceupwanaka #wanakafacemassage #wanakafacesculpting #faceupmassage

Here goes a long post - not sure how many people will read it in a world of fast scrolling and short attention spans… but if you’ve got a quiet moment and feel like slowing down, this one’s for you 🥰 Part of our exam requirement with @olga_faceup was providing before and after photos of clients but also of ourselves. My ‘before’ photo on the left was taken when I first started the theory part of the course in August. My ‘after’ photo on the right was taken following my 1:1 session on the 11th of December. Between those dates, the requirement was to complete a minimum of 4 Face Up club sessions per week focusing on full body strengthening, stretching the fascia chains and bit of local face massage. This is exactly what we recommend for clients too. Coming in for a Face Up session is powerful (and yes, I’d love more Face Up done on me haha) but just like with chiropractic care, osteopathy, physio etc, it’s the consistency and what you do between sessions that fast tracks results. I remember saying to Olga in my 1:1 “I don’t feel like my face has changed at all… but I feel so much better in my body than I did in August” and her reply was “you’ll be surprised. Take the after photo and you’ll see”. She had already noticed my posture shift, so she knew! From the ‘after’ photos I can see: - less overall puffiness especially in my cheeks - a more defined jawline - a completely different posture (look at my rounded shoulders prior!) - my head sitting back in alignment with my shoulders, hips, and ankles where it’s meant to be This work has solidified my knowing that the face doesn’t age on its own. Posture, fascia, movement, correct breathing, and how we use our bodies every day all shape the way our face looks and feels. Face Up is about supporting the whole system, there’s no quick fix in that. When you acknowledge and work on that, that’s where you see the results!

FAQ: How often do I need a Face Up to see results? Short answer… it depends. You’ll likely notice (and definitely feel!) changes after your first session, but the lasting, structural shifts come with consistency over time. Generally the sweet spot is 4-6 sessions per massage course, and each course is recommended 1-2 times a year depending on your goals. My best recommendation is booking sessions 1-4 about two weeks apart so your muscles and fascia don’t sneak back into their old tension habits (they love doing that!). This helps your face and body learn a new, more relaxed ‘normal’. Sessions 5-6 can then be spaced out a bit more (4-8 weeks) depending on life, time and budget. Remember, this work is powerful but also gentle and gradual, not an overnight fix. We’re unwinding long held tension patterns and that takes time and repetition. The more consistent you are, the more your face and body can actually hold the changes we create. Then of course the little ‘homework’ bits - posture checks, foam rolling, diaphragmatic breathing and simple self face massage really do fast track results and help them last (check out my own ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos!). What happens on the table is a huge part, but these daily habits simply support and extend that work between sessions 🌷 #wanakawellness #faceupwanaka #facemassagewanaka #facesculptingwanaka

I received the most heartfelt email from one of my clients wanting to pay a session forward in the spirit of Christmas. My heart is burstinggggg with all kinds of emotions 🥹 I asked if I could share her name but she chose to remain anonymous because in her words, “it’s not about me”. I can’t wait to treat someone special to this session. So let’s find them… I’d love for you to tag a friend who can come in for a session in the next month. A selfless mum A dad giving his all A friend who always puts others first A stranger who brings light wherever they go Anyone who needs a little extra love this season… Let’s spread some Christmas kindness 🧡

At Body In Season, our ethos begins with one simple truth: you cannot pour from an empty cup. For many of us, caring for others feels instinctive, yet caring for ourselves requires intention. That’s why The Body In Season program centres on rituals that restore, habits that ground, and moments that bring us back to ourselves, so we can move through each season of life with steadiness, clarity, and nourishment. We partnered with @kaeaskincare for our Face Up workshop at our Wellness Day Retreat, guided by Martha Delmotte, founder of @studio___bele Together, we created a space for women to slow down, check in, connect inward, and honour their natural beauty in a way that feels real and uncomplicated. Kaea’s ethos aligns seamlessly with ours, forming a full-circle exchange between self and nature. As we encourage women to give back to themselves, Kaea gives back to the land, restoring skin’s natural equilibrium while reinvesting into the ecosystems that sustain us. A reminder that caring for ourselves and caring for the earth are not separate acts, but part of the same cycle of nourishment. Thank you, Kaea, for being part of this day and for your ongoing support of our Body In Season women. 📷 @thisismesse #beginwithyou #selfcarerituals #selfcareforwoman #wellnessretreat #nature #naturalskincare #skincareroutine #queenstownnz #arrowtownnz #seasonoflife #restore #reset #connect #wommaswellbeing

Hot drop alert!💧 @circlhealth ’s Hydrate+ electrolytes are one of the hydration options I’ve been offering clients post-sessions and with so many clients loving them, I’ve started stocking them so you can grab a jar to take home. They’re pure and purpose-made electrolytes from right here in New Zealand. No nasties, just clean hydration. The only other electrolytes I’d found that met my high standards were from Finland, so I’m stoked about this high quality option that’s much easier to get my hands on! I’ll be launching a little Christmas surprise soon and it’s going to include a taste of this body boost. Perfect for the summer season… think hiking, hot lake days, post workouts or simply replenishing your body every day.
