Some work process & drafts since things in design just don’t happen by themselves. Very grateful and proud to work on this. 🎈
For @lofi.amsterdam , @laurent_garnier
Personal content alert. 1% of all conceptual work drafts/sketches for @lofi.amsterdam and @amsterdamdanceevent 2025. Was fun, so much fun and more to come. It is gonna be my 9th Ade and I’m ready to hike those kilometres this year for 7 days in a row. (Not really, Won’t recommend) keep kids away from this post. Maybe it is time to get Apple Watch or a whoop to watch my body. “The only way is thru” as the slogan says. Excited and happy. ❤️🫶 ready to conquer another hill or a big mountain in a flat land.
And it is actually 12 15 6 9. But numbers are difficult for me as long as it is not from 1 till 4 or 4 to 1 repeatedly just back and forth and other way around. I hear somewhere resembling sound “tick-tock”. Ah, and let’s not forget that “good things take time”🕰️ ever wondered why clocks move clockwise? I’m not so wise to know tbh. But one day. When the right time comes. Grateful atm.
The Loft as a playground.
This is a first look into the process/drafts — an evolving visual direction shaped by rhythm, instinct, and fragments of rave-era print.
It’s my second time building a visual language for the venue, and I’m genuinely excited to go deeper — not just branding events or sound, but the visual energy that lives between the walls. (Though I still love all the “work”, gladly my studio is also operating as a playground)
A chance to move away from predictable templates and let the visuals speak with the same pulse as the music.
Still early, still raw.
The tip of the iceberg.
(Though, at one point, it really did resemble a carrot.)
13. Social content and visuals for a platform inside the basement. Under the tower.
It no longer exists.
But the name aged well — it just kind of... dissolved.
11. Artworks for individual drops. Minimal, intentional, and not trying too hard. Cozy as a grandmas floral wallpaper. Each one gets to exist like a pause between songs.
Slogan: ‘FOMO is huge.’
(Also: Luuk is fun to work with. That helps.)
09. When the time ran out there is Nouw. A place where you actually in a post apocalyptic way collect artifacts and live a life.
Concept, direction, campaign.
Scribbly, analog, lived-in.
08. Full rebrand for an event series.
Built around a folder-based visual system — tabs, layers, restricted access energy.
Think: archival tech meets cinematic stillness.
Clean, contained, and slightly suspicious (in a good way).
