Hi! I’m Laura, I specialise in planning marquee weddings and luxury events. It’s been a while since I showed my face on here, so I thought I’d share a few facts about me;
I’ve worked in the events industry for 20 years!
I prefer being called Lau - I feel like I’m about to get told off if you ‘full name’ me.
You’ll find me with a coffee or a Diet Coke in my hand. (Don’t tell me I shouldn’t - I won’t give them up!) 😂
I’m a December baby and LOVE everything about Christmas. I literally countdown from the end of Summer.
I’m a foodie, but a rubbish cook, so when my husband’s away you’ll mostly find me with a bowl of pesto pasta, or dipping crackers into a bowl of humous. (but not at the same time!) If you want me to stop talking? Give me a cheeseboard!
I watch all big sporting events and love Tennis. I adore Andy Murray. So much so I married his doppelgänger! I absolutely love being organised and planning ahead, but ended up marrying someone who won’t even plan tomorrow. I’m from South London, but have lived the “good life” for nearly 17 years now and am officially converted! I started my career in production and was very lucky to travel the world with my role, until I had my eldest daughter almost 12 years ago!
I’ve been planning and styling weddings since 2015. Seeing months of work come to life on the day and the smile on my couples’ faces is the most amazing feeling.
Another thing I LOVE about my job is the people I get to work with. All the suppliers I get to team up with and seeing what we create together for wonderful couples and brands! I’m very grateful this is my job.
I am obsessed with skincare, love fashion and interiors. I’m the person who still buys magazines off the shelf!
