Here’s a little bit about our room 2 artists for the night… ⭕️Groundfloor @ground_floor_uk (slide 1, 2) The GROUNDFLOOR crew will be closing Room 2 with the full spectrum of UK Garage, 4x4, Speed Garage, 2-Step & Breaks! 3 hours of pure bassline pressure 🔊 ⭕️Edo @edo.uk (slide 3, 4) With 2 decades of record collecting and some extensive time playing in Asia and a far. Edo’s recoed bag is full of the unknown, curveballs and classics. Less concerned with ego and social media, just good times and pushing his Hand In Hand Label. ⭕️Jimmy Potts @jimmypottsdj (slide 5, 6) Jimmy Potts is a Brighton-based DJ & producer playing his signature style of garage-flecked deep house and minimal techno grooves 🎶 ⭕️Studio29* @studio29studio29 (slide 7 & 8) The Brighton based duo have played at various venues in both London and Brighton. As well as hosting their bi-weekly, genre spanning radio show on AAJA every other Friday, the pair also run a Brighton based party called @barrys_goodtime See you Friday :) 🪩🕺 Not one to be missed! 🫡

The Cricketers Pub - strong regal, gold & red palette ❤️ 03. The Regency Arcade - just great carpet 04. Drinking beers from 10:30 whilst trying to get a campaign shot The concept of the campaign ‘The Absurdity of Tradition’ involved us acting out various football rituals throughout the day - some real, some fabricated. This idea came out of a visit to the Arsenal Emirates Stadium, where you are reminded throughout the tour of the strong traditions, rituals, history and sentimentality of football. On the other hand, visually, you get an idea of the grandness of football, the private bar areas, the trophy cabinets and the stadium itself which is another element we wanted to show throughout the shoot. Things are changing these days 🥹 As we’ve previously mentioned Saturday’s party is an ‘AAJA FAMILY AFFAIR’ as The Snake Pit closes its doors we celebrate past & present DJs of AAJA RADIO. We felt it fitting to tie in with the soon to be ‘past’ venue & the ‘present’ venue The AAJA Basement at Comet Place. Join us on Saturday for THE LAST DANCE AT THE SNAKE PIT Saturday 23rd November - FREE ENTRY 12:00 - 00:30 ❤️ DJ Toffee - Toffee, Toffee, Toffee, well what can we say - The King of Deptford. DJ Toffee will be doing us the delight of opening up the last dance. He cut the ribbon when The Snake Pit originally opened in April 2022 and here he is stitching that ribbon back up served with, most likely, a pint of orange juice, a slice of cake, potentially a side of hard trance and who knows what else. @carlbell991 ❤️ Cosmic Bob - AAJA resident and Love Will Save The Day FM co-founder Cosmic Bob will be taking over from his best pal DJ Toffee, playing a mix of early afternoon music to get the party started. @djcosmicbob ❤️ Vassall - Strictly leng phatties. Diggers at heart, party starters in practice. Vassall are co-founders of the For the Record party collective, and have been spinning records the city over. They have supported the likes of Paul Woolford, Omar S, Banoffee Pies, Al Kent, and Ishmael. @vassall_ ❤️ Studio29* - Brighton based duo Studio29* bring an exploration of house, electronic, percussive and groove laden tunes - sprinkled with a feeling of balearia. The pair have been busy over the past 6 years running events in London as ‘For the Record’ and a more recent, Brighton project, Barry’s - of which they are joining forces with AAJA for this very event. @studio29studio29

Here’s a little bit about them… ⭕️EARTHNUT @earthnut_official (slide 1, 2) Their music releases have found homes in various labels such as Faux Poly, Inner Circle, Southpoint, Slime (Downplay), Wang Records, Strictly Flava, 3 feet deep, four40 and dissident sound. ⭕️GENIETUNES @genietunestv (slide 3, 4) Resident at Brixton Radio and Flat Earth Disco, sets played at Boardmasters Festival, El Dorado Festival, The Cause, Hootananny Brixton and The Grace Jones curated Meltdown festival. ⭕️MYRIAD. @myriadmusic.uk (slide 5, 6) As well as weekly appearances in clubs and bars in Brighton, he has supported the likes of Oppidan, Nightmares On Wax, Ross From Friends, Murder He Wrote and Shy One as well as playing plenty of festivals. ⭕️SONIC JUNCTURE @sonicjuncture (slide 7 & 8) The Brighton based duo have releases on labels such as Chequered Wax, Fresh Take Records, Andras Records, NOIDEA, Dealt With Records & Remmah, Sengiley Wax & their own imprint - Ecliptic Sound.
