This time of year always seems to be totally mental, is anyone else finding that?
We have 4 big projects on the go at the moment and 2 completing before Christmas so it’s all systems go in the studio!
Here is a picture of a project we completed earlier in the year, we packed a lot into a tight space in this kitchen by integrating the dining bench and a bar seat into the island. It really pays off having a totally bespoke kitchen!

If only the reality of painting was this quick!
I am working into the initial texture layers for my next commission and phase 1 is the ‘mapping out’ (excuse the pun).
I tend to work into the texture layers for at least a couple of weeks before beginning the colour layers, making sure the composition and layering to a painting is key to making it perfect.
Next up is adding the alabaster chippings to make some areas stand out from the rest.

This loft space in our Wandsworth project was such a fabulous space full of natural light and good bones.
We updated all finishes, added some additional storage, utilising a hidden window for a new vanity desk space and accentuated a walkway dressing area into the master en-suite.

The living room at our Ascot project. This space lacked character and impact and had a lovely south facing double aspect which needed utilising.
We had so much fun mixing pattern and colour, it really is the best feeling when you’re fully in sync with a client - everything comes together in the best way!

We always have so much fun at photoshoots, but this summer one was pretty extra with a little tag-along! Somehow managed to juggle breastfeeding, styling and naps for the day, with the help of my Mum and @peas.in.my.pod being fabulous as ever. Also very grateful for the best clients who are always happy for me to bring her along if I need to… safe to say the next one is booked in while she’s at nursery 😵💫😂

I’m scheming some lovely bedrooms in the studio at the moment 🍃
I always start new projects with materials, getting samples out of their boxes, making a mess and trying new ideas out. It’s where I’m most creative and definitely where the best ideas emerge!
Before I have an idea on layouts, the physical materials that will be touched, used and lived in already have a place (just maybe not a specific location yet). This way, before I get into scale and the formulaic elements of the space, the creative elements have time to breathe. They change and evolve as the project progresses, but they’re rooted in that first messy bit and I think that’s important. Creativity isn’t clean or tidy; it needs space to be explored, handled and a little undone!
Also verified by the current state of the studio - if anyone knows some professional organisers who can come and help me sort it out… hit me up!

I’ve tried to create a 2025 round up reel about 7 times and have given up! Shout out to the content creators that do this all the time - my brain is 🤯 … so figured this picture sums up last year perfectly 🤍
One of the most amazing and toughest years all at the same time.
My work routine has completely turned upside down while learning how to juggle a growing business, a new baby and navigate some difficult family news - but somehow I’ve kept everything afloat (just) and feeling very proud of that!
So here’s to 2026 and everything it’s got to offer - realising that life can change in an instant so trying to cherish every bit of it big and small!
We have so many exciting projects underway at the moment, and I can’t wait to see them all come to life!

Our new cushions are here! Some new faces and some familiar ones back in stock.
These cushions were designed for beds, not just for show but to actually be used. For that cup of tea in bed, the lazy Sunday morning, and everything in between. Cozy, practical, and still lovely to look at.
Beautiful bolster cushions are surprisingly hard to find, so I made sure they were a key part of our growing collection. They work perfectly as stand-alone cushions or layered with two square pillows behind. And yes, before you ask, my partner also hates how many cushions are on the bed… that’s why these are designed to earn their place!
Each cushion is made in Somerset and designed in Surrey, filled with double-wrapped feather pads so no more pesky feathers poking through.
There’s also a mini bolster range, ideal for kiddies’ rooms or armchairs. As an interior designer, I’ve always struggled to find cushions that dress an armchair without taking up the whole seat - these do exactly that!
