I've been nervous to post this because I really love this piece, and I'm hoping it's received well. It's a diptych of @lavernecox and bell hooks rendered in beads and wire. Inspired by their friendship, It represents the beauty of solidarity between black women. Our power is in our unity across cultural, socioeconomic, and intersectional lines. Especially in a time like this, we need to remember that we have survived worse together and we can build better together as well. 🖤🤎❤️🩷
