I keep finding interesting holes and cutouts in my studio, strange objects that beg to be part of a painting. I hope I keep finding them. Holes are pathways, a place where something should be, could be or used to be.

Maybe one of my favourite things I have made recently, experimented with hand painting the stripes on the mat, definitely something I will be doing more of, frame also hand joined by yours truly✨

I have so many little paintings that I have made over the summer that I haven’t posted. I also have been addicted to framing my work since I have been working at a frame shop.

I am also hoping to start posting more behind the scenes of my process, how I make my sculptures, set up my dioramas and then paint from them. I have been working this way for over a year now, and have only grown more interested in it which is an exciting feeling.
