👀 It’s been a little quiet over here… but only because we’ve been deep in the works, cooking up some new things!
Earlier this year, we launched the brand-new website for our big brother @moonbase.social
Naturally, we couldn’t help ourselves and had to make a little motion teaser to go with it.
Have a look and enjoy all the tiny micro-interactions we obsessed over, built with the brilliant folks at @px8.fi . The brand came to life together with the amazing @studio.oker 💛
A little bird told us we might’ve even been lucky enough to pick up a couple of shiny awards for it too…

When @johnsalinero sent us the logo and brand concept for VIBA, a food truck pop-up, our first reaction was:
“We gotta make this move.”
Some logos just move, even before you animate them. You look at them, and you can feel the energy, the rhythm, the vibe. John’s illustrations had that same quirkiness, so we took them, expanded the world with colors and fonts, and, of course, motion.
Motion in design isn’t just an add-on. It’s brand expression. It’s how something feels. How it lives. And while I love the sleek, serious 3D stuff we do at Studio Now, sometimes you just want to make something fun, bouncy, and full of life.

Together with our friends at @px8.fi , we explored new directions through 3D, motion, and visual experimentation for Finnish AI software company, Tekai.
Experimenting with optical properties, bokeh, and light angles, we were looking for an interplay of color and light that makes the brand feel dynamic, fluid, and human-centered.
Swipe through and see how our explorations came to life.

A couple snippets from the full launch film we created with the team at Realm for their $4.5M funding announcement.
The goal with this one wasn’t just to make a flashy hype edit, but to build something that actually helps people understand the product and the thinking behind it.
From early storyboards to final animation and sound, we handled the full visual execution. Tight timeline, clear direction, and a lot of trust on both sides made this one come together fast — all wrapped in about 2 weeks.
Super fun project to build. Always nice when everything clicks and the end result feels bigger than the timeframe.

New work! Together with our folks at Haibike we took the Get Out.Play. campaign social-first - mixing real-life action with game-inspired visuals. With Haibike’s speedy yellow ⚡️ and a modular FUI system built from maps, telemetry, and HUDs, we created a look that’s technical, fun, and (for real) rider-first!
We wanted to keep the momentum alive after launch. Instead of stopping at a single launch film, we built out 50+ unique videos, animations, and images each tailored to different platform and moments, keeping riders engaged and the campaign alive, every day. 🚴

Every project starts with some R&D. Here are a few LookDev explorations for an upcoming project, experimenting with X-Ray materials in Octane.

Studio Now goes awards! 🏆
While winning awards isn’t everything, it’s an incredible recognition of the work and care we put into designing and launching our new website. Great design has to look but also feel good. Thanks to the jurors at @awwwards , @fwa , and @cssdesignaward for the honor.
Of course, we couldn’t resist creating some playful animations inspired by the awards themselves.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making this possible.
With our new studio.now site, we took a different approach—focusing on clarity, usability, and letting the work speak for itself. Portfolio websites often fall into the trap of being overcomplicated, prioritizing flashy elements over functionality. By blending our passion for interface design with a showcase of our projects, we’ve created a space that feels true to what we do.

New Website Alert!
We’re super excited to finally share our new website with everyone! We want our passion for digital, 3D, and motion design to really come through, and we hope our new site does just that.
