The work "Eterna Actualidad" (Eternal Actuality) is a visual manifesto from the point of view of the author. The designer Macarena Torres Puga has worked during her career on sustainable projects that involve experimentation, use and reuse of various materials, which led her in this instance to reflect her gaze on today and tomorrow, through 3 areas of her interest, photography, poetry and materials.

🇪🇸 Estos últimos 2 meses han sido de los más intensos que he tenido como diseñadora y no tuve el tiempo de compartirlo por acá!
Quedé seleccionada para exponer en la feria de diseño más grande de el norte de europa @dutchdesignweek con mi proyecto @waste.epiphany y también para exponer en la Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño en Madrid @biddimad !!
Definitivamente ha sido un desafío enorme pero no doy más de felicidad!

🇺🇸 These last 2 months have been one of the most intense I have had as a designer and I did not have the time to share it here! I was selected to exhibit at the largest design fair in northern Europe @dutchdesignweek with my project @waste.epiphany and also to exhibit at the Ibero-American Design Biennial in Madrid @biddimad !!
It has definitely been a huge challenge but I couldn’t be happier!

Durante el 2020 estuve trabajando en mi proyecto de título llamado “A Waste Epiphany” donde busqué la forma de hacerme responsable de los residuos de construcción, los cuales son muy contaminantes a nivel mundial. Luego de mucha experimentación, llegué a este resultado, en donde realicé 3 piezas de diseño capaces de contener ladrillos reciclados, cemento reciclado y arena, aportando desde el diseño en este enorme problema.
