Did you have this kind of experience, after which you will never be the same?
That’s what @eurovision 2025 was for Paulius, who joined the visual team for Lithuania’s Katarsis performance. @katarsisgyvas
“I had been manifesting Eurovision for 7 years.” (C) @varonenka
Here are 6 key takeaways from this journey👇
1. Listen before creating:
“We listen to the music before designing the lights. It sounds simple, but it’s the key.”
2. Don’t go solo – build a team:
“You can’t do everything alone. Faders UP was born out of the need to go further. Seeing 14 people working in sync at the desks for one single performance - that was just wow.” The bigger the team the quicker the task can be done. The time saved can be used for raising the quality.
3. Inspiration comes from experience, not just theory:
“After coming back from the arena, I immediately sat down and started sketching a new stage design.”
4. People are everything: Sometimes doors open through conversation. “I approached a lighting designer I follow on social media — we met, we talked, we connected. It’s all about people.”
5. To do big things you have to become big. It’s not just about mastering gear or getting big gigs—it’s about expanding my inner world. Confidence, calm under pressure, clarity of intention.
6. The deeper a person dives into a narrow field, the more they can become unbeatable in that specific niche. And there are no limits to that – the more specific your passion or skill is, the more unique your value becomes in the world.
Think of your experience, which changed you for good? What was your takeaways? Share it with us in the comments!👇
