leonie is a london-based textile designer and weaver with an interest in the relationship between textiles and identity. being born in the uk as part of the caribbean diaspora, her work is often an exploration of how caribbean identities and stories can be captured and woven through an array of materials, colours, and forms. she continues to develop her practice through woven artworks and products, as well as facilitating workshops to share her passion for weaving.

I’ve started to take it with quite the *pinch* of salt 🧂 so when I find something that’s really got the heart it promises, I’ll be the first to shout about it.
If you’re based in London, @studi0sessions is really worth your time. It’s unpretentious, welcoming, creative & connective. I had the best time, met some cool new people + ate some very good pizza 🍕

we got given the opportunity to host an art event focusing on culture and identity at trowbridge county hall for the social workers of @wiltscouncil !
it’s mad that we actually got to not only work with a council but support the social workers on their training day.
the work these people do is incredible, it was a pleasure to be able to host something special for them :)
