As part of the BirdReturns program, a conservation effort turning rice fields into vital stopover wetlands for migratory birds @andrew.studer and @shainblumphotography were commissioned by RRG Capital Management to document the bird life at River Garden Farms. By carefully managing water levels, these working fields become seasonal habitats along the Pacific Flyway, showcasing how regenerative farming and wildlife conservation can thrive together.

š² Tree planting crews commissioned by American Forests planted over 215,000 trees to help the Santiam State Forest recover after the devastating wildfire of 2020. I grew up visiting forests in this area so this assignment was particularly special to be a part of.
