ROUND 1: CADWELL PARK Going into round 1 we knew the head gasket had let go, so we had to adapt how we approached each session, keeping each run to about 10 minutes in order to reduce overheating and further damage. We showed good pace in warm up and attack one, and went a tenth slower in attack two, but with the problem worsening and time not on my side, my driving worsened as a result, as I struggled to even put a lap together, which led to p3 in super attack in the end, a bit frustrating but for my second ever event, not a bad showing. Big congrats to @michaelhume85 for getting my driver excuses out of me so early and @stu_pot89 for getting the better of me right at the end 😉 I’ve also gotta say well done to @rickyatom for even showing up to this round, considering the state of his ankle I have no idea how he managed to do what he did, what a legend! Big thanks to @bensharperacing for running my on the day, fixing problems beforehand and setting the car up aswell, it drove lovely! Big thanks to @finningram_ for being the best mechanic and an allround awesome guy! Massive thank you to my mum and dad for coming by to watch and their constant support throughout the year so far, putting so much effort into help get the car ready! Also, thank you to everyone who came up for a chat and had a look at the car, it was truly special seeing so many people interested in it! Race report! @racinghondas Snetterton round 7 & 8 was nearly a no go!! But thanks to the @motionmotorsport_ltd boys who managed to get the car ready in short notice and was faultless throughout the day... Having not driven Snetterton before and having a test day cut short along with everything else, I really was on the backfoot for this round. Setup changes had been made due to us trying new things so free practice was to check the car was ok and try and get my eye in due to not having much seat time here. Into qualifying and getting a feel for the setup changes wasn't how we normally do qualifying, but with lack of time testing, we had no choice. We managed P2 but a little off P1 still a good result considering our situation Race 1 More changes into race one, but after qualifying I was able to look at data and give the feedback needed to make the car feel better and boy it did. Best its felt all season. Race went well good start and maintained p2 untill a red flag which lead to a restart, which left us a 2 lap sprint to the end, managed to hold our p2 only issue we had was the car bogging down in the low speed infield section which made it hard at time as we would lose alot of time. Race 2 Reverse top 4 so start 3rd on the grid, one of the best starts ive had and really didn't make the most of it and got boxed in by sam and Lewis managed to keep along side Lewis into t1 which gave me the inside into t2 following Sam, but he managed to creep up the inside of a class A car and make it stick and create a gap which then cost me my race 2 to be honest. Then missed a gear allowing Dan through then was under pressure from Lewis. Got my head down to close the gap to Dan and sam, Dan managed to get past sam which left me chasing sam for P2 had a good battle on the last lap but wasnt enough being 0.183 of a second behind as we crossed the line, maybe with one more lap I could of made something work. Never the less great race and overwhelmed I even managed to make it, let alone two good results. Well… 2024 has been a milestone year for multiple reasons, let’s do a little recap… 1: I launched my brand @limitrco at the beginning of the year. Thank you to everyone that has shown their support so far! 2: Japfest 2024 was a huge success with me DOUBLING the number of cars on my LimitR Club Stand. 3: I left my 20’s behind and celebrated on multiple days with so many people in my life and it was amazing! 4: Celebrated 14 years with @zarzcanfield and had this incredible steak platter AGAIN! 5: We went to see Tenacious D live and it was everything I hoped it would be! 6: Seeing the Northern lights in so many different colours was absolutely mind blowing! A bucket list sight for sure! 7: Marbella trip with @nugennath was an unexpected trip that was a cool experience! 8: LimitR Racing was born after the request to run my logo on a race car! 9: Down at SantaPod on a private day with @jackmcneill.cars to film a video was a super cool experience, even if it was insanely hot! 10: My car was on display at the @tegiwa stand at RollHard. 11: The first BIG one of the year. Zara said yes to the most important question I have ever asked her. The plan went perfectly too so this was a double win! 12: The second BIG thing of the year… we finally bought a house! It’s so crazy to have actually done it after all these years! Weird to move away from the only town I have ever known though! 13: Having one of my cars in for a Day In The Bay with @meguiarsuk is something I have wanted to do for years and it was such a cool experience! 14: Went to See @asherroth live. Something I didn’t know would ever happen and as a fan for 15 years +, it was very surreal! 15: I finally released the LimitR Racing drop for the brand. 16: Our first Christmas in our new house and we hosted many people over the few days and it was amazing to see so many people and for them to love the house too! 17: Of course the first full calendar year with @minniewinniewiener . She knows that she runs the world!
