We're at Police Week 2026 at The Ranch TX this weekend, May 14–17. Come find the STRX team if you are here and see firsthand how the FCX-400 combines thermal and color night vision into a single fused image. We'd love to connect with the people doing this work every day.

A through-optic view most systems can't give you. Heat signatures layered into natural color, detail preserved in the dark, clarity sustained when the environment stops cooperating.

Zero light, heavy cover, moving target. The FCX-400 holds the image steady so the decision happens on your clock, not the environment's.

Dynamic environments demand adaptive tools. The FCX-400 adjusts as light, obscurants, and terrain change, giving the operator intuitive control over cross-spectrum fusion and visual emphasis.

Detection. Identification. Understanding. The FCX-400 is engineered to support the full decision cycle when conditions collapse and time compresses.

We named our company after the Strix, a mythical nocturnal bird said to see what others cannot. The FCX-400 is built around that same principle: engineered clarity, regardless of conditions.

Clip it onto your existing LPVO and your optic is now a fused cross-spectrum system. The FCX-400 preserves your native sight picture and zero while adding thermal and color low-light capability without a separate dedicated platform.

See the shape. See the heat. See the detail. The FCX-400 pulls it all into one image so you aren't flipping between optics to piece it together.

Your LPVO setup doesn't have to stop working when the sun goes down. The STRX FCX-400 is a clip-on that fuses thermal and digital color night vision, mounting in front of your existing LPVO. You keep your zero, your reticle, and the rifle you've already trained on. Thermal picks up heat signatures fast, and the SIONYX XQE-1351 sensor fills in the color detail for positive ID. It even shows NIR laser designators. No dedicated night vision rifle. No rebuilt setup. Just clip it on when conditions change.

strix \ˈstriks\ noun [L, fr. Gk strix, fr. strizein to screech] ca. 3rd cent. ʙᴄᴇ 1. In classical mythology, a nocturnal raptor of ambiguous nature, regarded as an omen of unseen danger and credited with perception beyond the limits of ordinary sight. . . . The name was not chosen lightly. The FCX-400 carries it forward, fusing thermal imaging and digital color night vision into a single unified output that sustains clarity where visibility ends. Detection at 500m. Positive identification at 400m. Zero-preserving clip-on compatibility across the 1-10x LPVO range.

When the mission moves from daylight into obscurants into zero visibility, the environment changes faster than most optics can keep up with. The STRX FCX-400 is built to stay with you through all of it.

Spectra Fusion is what makes this image possible. Thermal and digital color low-light data processed into a single unified picture, so what you're looking at isn't two feeds stitched together. It's one coherent image built from two sensors working simultaneously.
