Structure Tone Southwest is proud to be named one of Austin’s Best Places to Work for the third year in a row.
This recognition reflects the strength of our team and the culture they continue to build every day. Their commitment to collaboration, growth, and doing meaningful work is what sets us apart.
“Earning this recognition for a third consecutive year speaks directly to our people,” says Ray McCoy, DBIA, CM-Lean, VP of the Austin Business Unit. “Their dedication, teamwork, and pride in what they do make Structure Tone Southwest a place where individuals can truly grow and succeed. I’m incredibly proud of this team and excited for what’s ahead.”
Thank you to our #Austin team for continuing to raise the standard.
Congratulations to @mckinneyyorkarchitects on the recognition of the Texas Facilities Commission William B. Travis Office Building project by @fundermaxna .
Great projects are built through collaboration, trust, and teams willing to solve challenges together. This renovation took thoughtful planning and teamwork while keeping an active facility moving every step of the way.
We’re grateful to have partnered on this project and proud to see the work celebrated.
The ones who show up every single day.
From early mornings to late nights, their impact goes far beyond the jobsite.
Today, we’re celebrating the moms who build strong families, strong teams, and strong communities.
Happy Mother’s Day 💐

This week, our teams across the field paused to focus on what matters most: the people behind the hard hats.
From stand-downs and trainings to everyday conversations on site, Construction Safety Week served as a reminder that safety is built through accountability, awareness, and looking out for one another.
Thank you to every team member and trade partner helping create safer jobsites every day.

What song gets you hyped when the boots hit the ground?
We caught up with Dan McClure for his take — and yes, a few bloopers along the way. Check it out, featuring the Austin IBM team.

Construction workers face a significantly higher risk of suicide than the general population, and the stigma surrounding mental health remains very real. This #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we’re reinforcing that safety extends beyond the jobsite.
At Structure Tone Southwest, safety is part of our culture. That means creating space for open conversations, supporting one another, and making sure every team member and trade partner knows they are not alone.
Because looking out for one another is part of how we build.
#BreakTheStigma
For our teams, working closely with the client creates a deeper connection to the purpose behind the project.
On this project with Alamo Colleges District, that purpose was especially meaningful. As Fabian Leal shared, team members who are Veterans had the opportunity to engage directly with the client and gain a deeper appreciation for a mission centered on supporting both Veterans and the broader military community.
Serving communities that serve others.
We’re pleased to welcome Joel Cotter to Structure Tone Southwest as Aviation Project Executive.
Joel brings more than 15 years of experience in aviation and infrastructure construction, with a proven track record of leading complex airfield and terminal development projects at major airports across Texas. He will support our aviation strategy across the region, with a focus on Dallas and Houston, and help drive continued growth in this specialized sector.

This #EarthDay, we’re reminded that what we build has a lasting impact on the environment and the communities we serve.
At STSW, we’ve delivered over 8.5 million square feet of LEED-certified projects, including multiple LEED Platinum buildings.
Our sustainability team focuses on creating spaces that prioritize environmental responsibility while enhancing the communities they serve.
• Energy-efficient design
• Smarter material selection
• Innovative construction practices
It all adds up—project by project.

Our #Dallas team gathered to mark the topping out of DFW2 in #Texas, our second milestone together in less than a year.
This #missioncritical, high-performance facility continues to take shape through coordinated site development, #coreandshell construction, and interior fit-out, supporting the infrastructure behind growing digital demand.
Grateful for the trade partners and teams behind the work and the steady progress on site.
