The shop boys doing their best to keep up with field operations. We may post a lot of about welding and fitting and all the trade work. But we are still one of the largest rope operators outside of Fort Mac.
Shop guys trying to keep us broke buying @petzl_official fast enough to give our accounting team a heart attack.

Some older, some younger, all of them smarter than the rest of us. Currently supporting clients and our internal projects in #alberta and #britishcolumbia with a focus on mechanical, structural and weld design.

4 new @iratainternational level 2’s and a recert L2 going 5/5! Rare to have a full group of 2’s and it was a super fun week learning new words like Skibibbididi yeet and other slang from people borne in the 2000’s. @_stephaniejune

Rare that we have this many trucks back at HQ, the weather is even still beautiful.
Servicing our mobilize welders, some driver reassignments and all trucks headed back to field Monday. Saskatchewan, BC, and Alberta. Some coal mines, a fab yard and a lovely little refinery down the road.

Wear plate replacements, structural installs, conveyor drive motor and a transfer box swap outs, breaker drum alignment, and a handful of smaller little jobs. Besides the yet another summer blizzard the boys (and Jess) kicked ass on this one. Happy client. No injuries. Plenty of donuts.

Millwright team out in BC replacing components for our coal client.
You can’t see it but the boys killed on this one with tight rigging clearing the drive motors on the parallel matching by centimeters…….those are like tiny inches for our American friends.

Loki left me this Saturday. It was medical and I got him to the vet before he had any pain. I laid him on a bed on my tailgate and held his face as he crossed over. It destroyed me.
He was the longest serving employee of Structure. He met every student (100’s) that came through our doors, he slept on, beside and under people. He stole lunches and barked at you even if you were gone 4 seconds.
He barked at clients. He loved the puralator girl and hated the mail man.
He snuck onto all manner of sites that shouldn’t have.
I’ve gotten dozens of messages from people that trained with us, worked with us, clients, suppliers offering condolences and a few pictures. Loki was a part of structure as much as any of us and I thank everyone for their messages. I thank the clients that looked the other way when his nose poked out the truck window.
Most of all I thank whatever fluke landed him in my life. It’s a big loss personally, and seeing the pics of all the people that loved him or took care of him and opened their homes while I was working makes me happy.
