We donāt consider jumps a cardio exercise and we definitely donāt care about jump height š¤Ø
We jump because:
1. Itās one of the most powerful ways to preserve bone density and help prevent osteoporosis in women.
2. Most women are undertrained in power production, and the ability to produce force quickly matters for preventing falls, reacting fast, moving with confidence, and staying physically capable as we age.
3. Good jumping mechanics teach the body how to manage pressure (which is beneficial for the pelvic floor), absorb force, and improve coordination.
Weād rather see women jumping lower with excellent landing mechanics than a high jump with poor control. Long-term benefits are just better š

Are you actually doing your Kettlebell Swings right? š§
Weāre keeping them in Aprilās training program because they build power, strengthen your posterior chain - glutes and hamstrings - and improve your conditioning.
Get yourself into a good starting position, think of exploding from the hips, donāt swing with the arms, keeping the core and glutes tight. This is a hip hinge move, not a squat.
