By Him rising from the grave He has shown us that we can overcome everything. I have so much love, joy and strength knowing and living in what God has done through his Son.
Read John 10:10. Anything you had taken from you, He will restore.

In Philippians it says “do not be anxious about anything but by prayer and petition present your requests to God WITH THANKSGIVING”. Gratitude sets the right heart posture for God to trust you with His blessings! It’s something we speak about all the time.
Alongside gratitude you must also add faith WITH action. Again, the Word says in Ephesians to “make the most of every opportunity”. When your faith is matched with the preparation, commitment, and vigour, that’s when God’s plan turns into reality 💫

FOUNDATION BEFORE FRUIT
What Pastor Philip Mitchell is saying here can easily be applied to many walks of life. We live in a microwave generation where we are more concerned about results rather than the system that produces them. We want things quickly not healthily.
We want to stay ahead and deal with the repercussions later but make no mistake - what you sow, you will reap. James 1:4 says “Let Perseverance finish its work so you maybe mature and complete NOT lacking anything”.
Persevere through the growth stages, be well prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually. The lessons are to make you unbreakable when it’s your time to go forth. Don’t step into the field lacking any tools, strengths, or wisdom. Before consistency in your results comes a healthy consistency in character, faith, and principles.

What Chip is saying here is relates to Matthew 6:33 - “Seek FIRST his Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well”.
A lot of the times our traumas, anxieties, and worries can make us forget to put God first in our decisions. It’s not easy.
The state of your heart when making any decision is like a seed. If that seed is full of doubt, fear, or sin then the fruit of that decision will result in death. If that seed is full of faith, hope, and Jesus: that decision will lead to LIFE.
Seek God first and he will give you the right heart in all your decision making which will lead to peace! Keyword being FIRST not only.

Two things really stuck out to me here.
1) The analogy of brushing your teeth every morning and night.
How many of us carry Monday’s attitude through out the whole week instead of leaving it where it’s supposed to be and starting afresh?
Yesterdays attitude may not meet today’s demands👂🏾
2) If your attitude about something/someone is positive you’re more likely to be drawn towards it.
Brushing your attitude is like charging batteries for a metal detector. Fully charged, you might be able to find gold in places you couldn’t before!
This all begins with gratitude 🙏🏾
Being grateful and being content are two different things! But that’s another story.
