It's my birthday!
And I want to invite you to a couple of events I've had a hand in bringing to being...
๐ฟNorth East Vic - Violet Town ๐บ
Come dance TOMORROW night at the VT Hall. 6-8pm boogie (think 5 rythms/open floor/ecstatic dance) and a potluck dinner after. I've got some juicy tracks lined up in our playlist, and @danacolemanmonsoon has lined up all funds to go to our friend Ahmed in Gaza and his family.

This Saturday, permaculture as and in support of activism, workshop run by @murrnongfarm with some input from myself and dear friends. Sliding scale pricing (starts at $0), bookings essential for numbers. We'll also be sharing a potluck at this one, this time for lunch. Sharing food is the way to do it!
First slide: Clowns caught sidestage before a surprise performance at Out of Range fundraiser for Aunty Sue @westmalleeprotection earlier this month.
EDIT: finish time now 2:30pm
Collaborating with my dad and my dear friends to put this workshop on.
Super affordable pricing, come along!

Permaculture gives us thinking tools that we can all apply, wherever we are, with whatever is available.
We can build empowerment and hope while reducing our dependence on (and monetary support for) exploitative systems.

What a fucking joy.
A few weeks ago, I had a tumbling scare and realised that all of the greatest pleasures in my life come from living in a moving body. The fear of losing movement ability had me sobbing. To bend and shake and jump and twist, to dance, (for me) is to live.
Thank you Stewart for creating a safe and joyful container of bearing open and bearing witness. And for the offer to put aside the "good" dance of the striving hustling training and dance the real dance โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
this Saturday, I'll be doing something like this, but at bell city takeaway, it's not blurry and u pay (money to people in gaza and mob and care of the merri creek).

Some things I made recently that aren't dance. "I" as in my body in collaboration with others, teaching and guiding and helping and yarning and documenting (@shit_wheels on the ๐ธ 1 &2), in collaboration with land that holds and knows (for these mostly lands of the Boonwurrung and Woi Wurrung, that little river nest on Erwirung country), and in collaboration with all of the people and lands from which knowledge and story has come from and come through, in memories and unseen echoes. Too many to credit them all, know that I am not a singular agent, nothing is made alone.

Immensely grateful for this time on Wulgurukaba country, in Gurambilbarra and Yunbenun. Moving and playing in the sea, sand and studio, under the sun and the shade of the forests.
Thank you @dancenorthaustralia for holding space for magic ๐ฃ๐ซ
spent the first month of being 25 on a beautiful part of Wadawurrung country ๐พ
Meredith wrap up, mostly of or related to: swimming, moving, sunning, sleeping. I am so hugely grateful for the babes and badies that make this place in time so EPIC โค๏ธโ๐ฅ
