This one was super pretty so I felt like posting some stills. @stringking Mark 3V with 5S, this is by far my favorite pocket I've done so far in this head and probably how I'm going to string all future ones unless requested otherwise. Little bit different last few knots from my normal to cinch up the bag wt the bottom and keep it a but more defined in the top middle of the head. Changed the bottom few knots of the white/red one I did recently to match the finish here cause I liked it so much.
I also included a few photos of my preferred methods of doing bottom strings on the weird Mark 2/3 bottom holes for both single or double hitch styles because I've been asked before.
Pitcure today 🔄 Picture after a home game from my freshman year of college
This one is super special. I've got to watch my cousin Landon get into the sport, evolve into a hell of a multi-sport athlete, and now I get to watch him continue in lacrosse with his recent commitment to Ohio Wesleyan! Had to do up a custom stick, so I enlisted the help of @zap_lacrosse (since my wife doesn't let me dye in the apartment after "the incident"). Obviously Zap nailed it, and super excited to send it out to Landon. Proud of you man, and can't wait to see what's next!
Another of my standard smooth/versatile 3V pockets. This is pretty much my starting point pattern for most 3Vs because it does everything solidly and flows with the curvature of the head. If the player wants something a little bit more specialized it's easy to shift just a few knots or shooters.
Haven't posted in a while. Started a new job, bought a house, lot going on. Knocked out one of my favorite head/pocket combos for a longtime customer. Hopefully we'll have a few more heads strung up soon, and might remake my old inside grainbag tutorial because so many people have been asking
New Hero 7D is pretty sweet! Hopefully this option will open people's minds to try some new stuff. Also a fun challenge for stringers to really get them thinking about how mesh moves and affects the ball
Different iteration of the Force I posted earlier this month. Honestly this nylon placement was ridiculous and I don't understand people who like the ball to release this low
Breathing a second life into this DNA 2.0! Love how durable these things are, not many heads outlast their original string job while still being in what I consider playable shape. Will be used in the @charmcitycannonsblc season coming soon
