Over the past few years, I lost my dad. I lost the golden retriever loving, guitar playing, Snoopy collecting, practical joking, fishing enthusiast, Hank Williams fan (and all that old classic country music) dad. I lost the dad who would drive to me in a minutes notice if I ever needed him, or a ride. Lost was the man who always had words for everything, good, sound advice, a huge appetite and love for food-lots of it! Little by little I lost what made him so special. Yesterday I lost him again, this time, forever. Dementia took most of him from us, but not his huge love for his family. That was always there till the end. Now he’s at peace and whole again. Love you daddy. Rest easy 💔
