Jungle pool. Rooftop rice field views. My toddler didn’t want to leave. Five stars.
Arkamara Dijiwa absolutely delivered.
The pool is surrounded by pure jungle, the room overlooks the canopy with a huge bathtub, and the food was excellent across every single meal.
But Juggan Sky, the rooftop bar and restaurant, is the real highlight. Eclectic style, comfortable lounges, sweeping views over the rice fields and jungle. Great vibes.
Staff were warm and welcoming throughout, which matters even more when you’re travelling with a nearly-three-year-old boy.

One of the most unique stays I’ve had in Bali.
Sebatu Sanctuary, with its bamboo pod and private waterfall was a surreal experience and I loved every minute of my stay here.
The main pool is completely natural with no chemicals, and it even has schools of fish to accompany you on your swim.

Here’s all the details 👇🏼
My son and I were staying at the beautiful @ubudmasglamping and they organised us to go on tour of Ubud in a classic VW safari car! It was so cool.
Weather was perfect and we had the top down to really take in the sights on the way to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces, checking out some incredible Bali scenery.
Then we went to Pura Mengening which is an ancient water temple similar to the nearby (but way more busy) Tirta Empul. It was pure Balinese spiritual vibes here and it was insanely gorgeous. Highly recommended.
Our driver was the super friendly @gus.widyana13 - he was very knowledgeable and knew all the scenic backroads.
This is definitely something you should do on your next Bali trip!
