Stretch | Improvised Jam Night

Can’t believe that @stretch______ has been going for almost a year! 😲 Our anniversary event is TOMORROW NIGHT so thought I’d post a few highlights from the last twelve months… I originally set the night up with Henry Beckwith and slowly developed it with the help of Nolan Regent and all the team at @toulouse.london . It’s been a wild ride! Each month I get to hand pick a group of musicians to play with in the house band. To keep it fresh, I always choose different people and have often never met them before! It’s given me the opportunity to play with some incredibly inspiring people and make loads of new pals. Plus I get absolutely roasted every time which is terrifying in the best possible way 😂 Stretch started as a jam, but has grown into so much more. The community that has built around the night is truly special! It’s one of the most comfortable, warm and supportive spaces I’ve ever been in. The crowd and musicians we get coming down are truly diverse and I think everyone feels welcome and able to be themselves. Which is SO important and EXACTLY how it should be! Sending deep, heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to and supported the night so far 🙏 Come and celebrate with us this Wed 4th Sept 👀
