ACCESS GRANTED “After Jesus had crossed the lake, he came to shore near the town of Gadara and started down the road. Two men with demons in them came to him from the tombs. They were so fierce that no one could travel that way.” (Matthew 8: 28 CEV) That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. Our Focal Scripture speaks of how the men at the tomb were so fierce that no one could pass by the way where they stationed themselves. These men were demon possessed, and because of the satanic stronghold in their lives, they became a roadblock such that people could not pass by that way. Because of demonic activity in them, people could not use that road. Literally, their presence was a satanic roadblock for sane travelers. Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every satanic roadblock on your pathway, I command it to be rolled away. I roll away every satanic siege against your movement. I roll away every arrangement of hell that is stopping you from attaining the goals you set out to attain. I roll away every arrangement of hell that is stopping you from rising to your next level. They were not free in the sense of the word free. They were not acting freely on their own. They were acting according to the dictates of the demons that held them bound. They may not have chosen to be bound, but they were bound. They were in bondage, albeit unfortunately. Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every bondage on your life is broken. I command every bondage on your spirit man to be broken. I command every bondage on your family, to be broken. I command every bondage against your increase, to be broken. I command every bondage on your generation, to be broken. I command every bondage on your destiny advancement, to be broken. I command an utter end to bondage. Those two men remained in bondage until Jesus showed up, and their bondage came to an end. The emergence of Jesus in the country of the Gadarenes marked the end of the bondage of these two men. Hear me as I hear the Lord: because Jesus has emerged, your bondage is over. Because Jesus has emerged, you cannot remain in bondage of sickness and disease. You cannot remain in the bondage of your past. Jesus did not redeem you so that the enemy can reenact bondage on your life. Jesus did not redeem you so that you can dwell in chains. Jesus did not redeem you so that your freedom in Christ can be exchanged with the bondage of the enemy. If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then stand fast in the freedom wherewith Christ has set you free, and do not be entangled again in the yoke of bondage. Stay free if Jesus has set you free. Your days of bondage are over. The chains that the enemy put on you, are broken. No longer shall the enemy enforce bondage on your life. You are free indeed.
