Top Post of the Year: Reliability Under Fire
Detective J. Avila jokes that he is "part Streamlight now" after he and his team were ambushed in July 2022, taking multiple rounds from a 7.62 rifle. Not only was his SWAT rifle hit, the Streamlight TLR-1 HL mounted on it was hit! There are even some fragments of the light still embedded within him!
Three years later, that same light still works. No repairs. No replacements. Just unwavering reliability. Thank you, Detective Avila, for your service and for trusting Streamlight when it mattered most.
