it was a long journey to these samples but i’m happy with how they turned out! i always seem to choose techniques that take hours and hours to do. blob

since starting at gsa, i’ve found painting to be one of my favourite ways to create research. i used impressionist painting as a big influence during the start of this project, and it turned into using my own painted masking tape ‘rubbish’ as my final samples!
i’ve also had a habit of peeling off the acrylic paint from the tupperware lid i call a palette. after doing a small project on the blobs in first year, it was so nice to go back and look at them again for this! long live the blobs
