Last night at Berklee Performance Center I had the honor of mixing some bluegrass masters, as well as an incredible cast of students, faculty, and community heavyweights celebrating the music of Bob Dylan. Congrats to everybody who came together to make it happen, especially the stage crew who really stepped up and stepped in to make all the moving parts happen on point.

I really got bit by the Christmas Carol bug this year, starting with this beautiful arrangement of Silver Bells from @lylebrewermusic . I loved the chromaticisms and spread triads Lyle wrote into the arrangement, it was a really fun challenge. I hope you enjoy!

Looking back at my fishing season. It was slow and at (most) times frustrating, but rewarding and exciting all the same. I learned a lot, found some new spots, saw the sun rise and the full moon over the ocean, met some great people, and navigated a couple sketchy situations. I also caught my personal best striped bass (40”) and some new species to me: rainbow trout, winter flounder, cunner, mackerel, and smelt. It’s been a ride! Looking forward to next year, and maybe another trip or two before I call it quits for 2024

He’s also one of my greatest friends and a longtime musical collaborator (lucky me!!). Sean asked me to lend some guitar to this playful but pensive track and I’m really pleased with the results! Announcing the end of the awkward courtship phase and the beginning of the rest of our lives together. The love of my life @lilywasserman said yes. Phew! So grateful for all the adventures we’ve had and excited for those to come. And for all the friends and family who have been here with and for us all the way. We love you all! But each other more.
